Exercise Physiology
What is exercise physiology?
- An “Accredited Exercise Physiologist” (AEP) is a tertiary qualified Allied Health Professional.
- They design and deliver exercise programs for the individual.
- They specialise in exercise for rehabilitation, exercise for health and well being, chronic and complex medical conditions, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, work conditioning and improvements in sports performance.
- AEPs are trained in preventing the onset of disease through exercise and lifestyle modification, in the treatment of disease, understanding interactions of exercise and pharmacology, managing multiple medical conditions, attending to the risk factor, health education and in providing post-acute exercise rehabilitation.
- Exercise Physiologists are 4-year university qualified allied health professionals.
- EPs provide physical activity and behaviour change support for clients with conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, depressions, cancer, arthritis, COPD and many more.
- Accredited exercise physiologistsTM (AEPs) are recognised as allied health professionals.
- They are eligible to register with Medicare Australia, the Department of Veterans Affairs and have recognition among a number of health insurers.
- At a state level, EPs are included within health professional awards and in compensation schemes akin to other mainstream health professionals.

What is the cancellation after the minimum term?
After the Minimum Term is over, you can apply to cancel your Studio Membership. All we ask is that you complete the Cancellation Form and submit it to a member of the administration team 30 days prior to when you wish your Studio Membership to cease.
What is the cancellation within the minimum term?
If for any reason you need to cancel your Studio Membership within your Minimum Term we are more than happy to help. If you move too far from the Studio (more than 30kms as the bird flies) or have a medical reason not to attend your classes there are options available to you to cancel your Studio Membership, incurring an Exit Fee depending on how many payments you have left. See reception or call us on 0247 277710 if you have any questions or need assistance cancelling your membership.
What is the minimum term?
Your Studio Membership goes for a minimum term of six months. Payments come out of your selected bank account or from your credit card each fortnight, also incurring a $2.00 or 3% administration fee. The amount each payment totals will vary from member to member, depending on how many classes the member has chosen to enroll in.
Your Premium Membership (Silver, Gold or Platinum) goes for a minimum of twelve months. Payments come out of your selected bank account or from your credit card each week and incur a $2 or 3% administration fee. The amount each payment totals will vary from member to member, depending how many classes the member has chosen to enroll in.
